This online learning community of commissioners and others involved in the commissioning process is designed to build skills, solve problems, lend expertise, offer help, share effective practices, and explore new ideas. We envision five components to the circle:
- Social Network: Capitalizing on new technologies to create an online network for sharing narratives, ideas, concerns, and solutions.
- Commissioning NewsLine: Monthly updates on commissioning-related policies, news, and events.
- Library of Effective Practices: Searchable database of case studies, innovations, evaluations, and demonstrations of effective commissioning.
- Distance Learning: Online courses about finance, management, and quality improvement.
- Discussion Forum: A forum where individuals can help one another find solutions to specific commissioning problems.
- Job Board: Postings of positions offered and sought.
